Fallout Summary & Review

My thoughts about Fallout is that it gives you a inside look about how a family can come together and in stressful situations. This family is the only house in town that has a bomb shelter, however family's across town have to come here and take shelter  for safety. When being in close quarters like this it can make things stressful at times.
As I read my book "Fallout" I started realize that something had gone wrong with there family. They had such little space they were always been a crowd with them, and they had no bathrooms. They were in a bomb shelter! As I finally understood what the back of the book actually meant when it said "what if the bomb had actually been dropped?" "What if your family was the only one with a shelter.

The conflict that I see is man vs self because even thought he me act cool around his friends he still dealing with problems of his own. I see the Scott dealing with some emotional problems and problems with his dreaming. Another conflict I see in my book is man vs society, I think this because Scott is not just dealing emotional problems, he is dealing with a bomb that could destroy his family at any minute.

"Call Of Duty" Scope Article review

As I read the scope article "Call of Duty" the story had me really interested. The theme to me in my own words was kind of a family and friend relationship. But the conflict to me was man vs self, and  man vs society because, It showed the loving the support that a marine and a dog could have.  Even with the new life that jose has he can do it with his best friend.

The Zig Zag Kid (My review)

The Book the Zig Zag Kid was very unique from most books I have read. Nonny personally was very bland to some of the other characters. There was not a lot of characteristic details given about him. The setting to me was not as descriptive as I had wanted and did not leave the reader with a sense of where and how things where betrayed, however the ending was very surprising.  Overall this book really made me think. It was confusing at times but then interesting at the same time.

In the Zig Zag Kid I think the Point of View (POV) is 1st person because, the author is speaking through the characters not as himself or second person. I can prove this with evidence like, "We hurried out our compartment and headed toward the locomotive." Also "I walked by and continued the game with out him." At times the book could change to second person, but for the most part it stays at 1st person.

The Zig Zag Kid summary

My new book "The Zig Zag Kid" written by David Grossman is a about a boy named Nonny Feurberg's and his amazing adventure planning his Bar Mitzvah. He meets new people and sometimes gets in trouble on the way. He also finds secrets about himself and stories from the past. I really am enjoying this book and I hope you still find it as a good read as well.

Lemon Brown Response

In the story of "Lemon Brown" The story starts off as Greg talking to his father about his poor grades. He meets a man later on named Lemon Brown and is taught new things from him. I really enjoyed the this type of style of stories it's fun, creative, and it's unique. If this story had to remind me of anything it would be the an old style blues.
